We offer very competitive wages, plus the stabilization grant as a per-pay bonus. Flexible schedules.  Minimum one week vacation. 7 paid sick days. Paid day off for your birthday. 5 paid Statutory holidays plus 2 others.  We are closed for all federal and provincial holidays and an extra long weekend over Christmas, otherwise were are open year round.  We have a comprehensive medical benefits program including; coverage for 100% of prescriptions, vision, dental and parameds.  This is available after a three month probation period.  Staff childcare is provided at half the regular rate if the program they are in is full.  If it is not full then childcare is free (infant care is exempt.)  We expect staff to be prepared for their daily programs even if it means completing work at home.  We expect a commitment to attend a monthly staff meeting.  We have two parent teacher meetings a year as well as other events and we expect you to be a part of them.  We expect nothing less than professionalism both inside and outside the centre, where you may be a reflection on the reputation and integrity of the centre.

We consider people who possess the following qualifications:

    *  ECE or equivalent

    *  and / or experience in a childcare setting

    *  Outgoing, friendly, warm, tolerant, and flexible

    *  Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate sensitive issues compassionately

    *  French is an asset

    *  Emergency First Aid and Infant CPR

    *  Clear child abuse registry

    *  Current Food Safety is an asset

    *   WHIMIS is an asset
